Hidden Jewels – Sync – JD Design Awards 2022
Designer Pooja Suresh & Sujina Ikbal explored a range of stylish and glamorous formal attires to curate a collection for the JD Design Awards 2022.The Hidden Jewels is inspired by a rare and exquisite species known as jewel beetle.
The jewel beetle, which has a variety of stunningly iridescent colors and patterns, is one of the most spectacular subgroups of insects. They are famous for their brightly coloured metallic bodies. The beetle is known as a tough species because it thrives in harsh environments and overcomes them without giving up, exhibiting many human characteristics.
Since the collection features fashionable semi-formal attire It consists of blazers, trousers, dresses, skirts, and formal shorts. To give it an exquisite appearance, colorful stones have been added as embellishments.
JD Design Awards is an annual design event. Its previous editions were known as the JD Annual Design Awards, and featured themes such as Undo (2020), Curator (2019), Change (2018), Future Origins (2017), Untold Stories (2016), and Pure (2015). It is a magnificent platform that channels the designers’ talent and brings them face to face with the world. JDDA provides an opportunity for those with a creative bent to pursue their passion and make a name for themselves through their unrivaled work.
