Agonia A Tribute to Zodiac Sign- Gemini – JD Design Awards 2023
Agonia is Designed by Julia Joice, student of BSc in Fashion Design & Garment Management at Academy of design & Management under the guidance of JD Institute Of Fashion Technology Cochin, for JD Design Awards 2023. AGONIA is a women’s ready-to-wear party collection that draws inspiration from the Gemini sign of the zodiac, which is recognised for its dual nature and multiple personality qualities. By fusing disparate materials and producing adaptable pieces that represent the sign’s particular traits, this collection seeks to convey the entrancing spirit of Gemini’s dual nature. The “AGONIA” collection is geared for self-assured, fashion-forward women between the ages of 19 and 35 who accept their complex identities. In this collection, contrasting components, such as various textures, colors, and so on, will be artfully juxtaposed. The designs will make use of avant-garde cuts, shapes, and fabric combinations to highlight the contrast in each ensemble. The collection’s color scheme will be built around the white, yellow, orange, green, and red hues associated with Gemini. Chrysanthemums, the zodiac flower, served as inspiration for the collection’s elaborate embellishments.
