Silenced Pirouette : A Tribute to Swan Lake – JD Design Awards 2023
Silenced Pirouette is Designed by Niveditha Uday, student of Diploma in Fashion Design at Academy of design & Management under the guidance of JD Institute Of Fashion Technology Cochin, for JD Design Awards 2023. Inspired by Tchaikovsky’s iconic Swan Lake, Silenced Pirouette is an avant-garde collection that focuses on the Black Swan- blunt, chaotic, and self destructive yet captivatingly seductive and elegant. Through fluid lines, rough textures and a touch of drama, this Autumn Winter 23/24 collection celebrates the enchanting darkness of this ballet and the transformative power it holds. Each garment is meticulously crafted to enhance movement, embody the essence of theatrics and ignite a sense of whimsy in the wearer.
