Architectural Photography Workshop for Interior design department
“Architecture is a visual art, and the buildings speak for themselves” – Julia Morgan
Anyone can use a camera. Everyone is capable of clicking a button, and while these pictures are perfect for selfies and pleasant memories, they are probably not the best for professional purposes. Using professional architecture photography to produce high quality, eye-catching images that accurately represent the brand makes sense in order to represent business in a way that consumers, clients, and other professionals will respect and to get them interested in what is to be offered.

Academy of Design and Management under the guidance of JD Institute of Fashion Technology Cochin , interior design students were taken to Mattancherry for an outdoor session on “Architectural Photography.” Our photography department mentor, Mr. Vivek Subramanian, conducted the workshop.

The workshop gave students a brief introduction to the significance of architecture and street photography, the benefits of available light during the day or at night, the aesthetics of landscaping surrounding a building and its importance to the overall composition of a photograph, the need to communicate the harmony of a building with its surroundings with the camera basics and settings.

Academy Of Design & Management, under the guidance and management of JD Institute Of Fashion Technology offers Interior Design courses that promote deeper understanding of fundamental methodologies in the interior domain.
