HINDUSTAN INTERNATIONAL FURNITURE FAIR-2023 | INDUSTRY EXPOSURE – COCHIN
On September 25,2023 Academy of Design & Management under the guidance of JD Institute Of Fashion Technology Cochin organized a visit to the Hindustan Furniture Fair (HIFF), at Codissia Complex, Coimbatore, for the students of the interiors department, under the supervision of Mr. Emerald and Ms. Christeena James -Faculty for Interiors Department.
The largest finished furniture show in India and the most significant occasion in the country’s furniture sector is the Hindustan International Furniture Fair. HIFF is a suitable business-to-business (B2B) platform where entrepreneurs, consultants, decision-makers, and trade delegations can network, generate ideas, and create vital business alliances. By providing top-notch opportunities for networking and business promotion, HIFF acts as a catalyst for the expansion and development of the furniture sector.
Additionally, HIFF acts as a market for all raw materials, modern machinery, equipment, and technology required in the supply chain for the manufacture of furniture. More eligible buyers and decision makers may be found at HIFF than at any other event in India, making it the ideal place to introduce new goods, network, and retain partnerships. Students from different batches of the BSc Interior Design and Diploma in Interior Design gained a lot of knowledge from this particular fair that took place in Coimbatore. They gained an understanding of product knowledge, learning about furniture design, materials, and manufacturing processes, as well as networking opportunities that could help them connect with professionals and potential mentors in the industry.
