Job Fair at Campus – 2023
On September 13, 2023, Academy of Design & Management in Cochin, under the guidance of JD Institute of Fashion Technology Cochin, organized a campus job fair for all of its students from the following batches: MSc Fashion Design & Management 2022, MSc Interior Design 2022, BSc Fashion Design & Garment Management 2021, BSc Interior Design 2021, Diploma in Fashion Design NOV 2022, Diploma in Fashion Technology NOV 2022, and ADMxJD Alumni was also equally part of this event .The following are some of the fashion and interior design companies who attended this job fair. Reliance, Pulimoottil Silks, M Loft, Zack & Kiki, Mattam, ME by Michelle Edward, Jugalbandi, Evansh, For Film Field (Designer Gayathri), Interior: YH International Group LLC, D Concept, Veda lighting, and more are among the brands featured.
Prior to conducting interviews for various tasks in the categories of internships, volunteer work, and placements, these organizations initially gave students an introduction to their brands and areas of expertise. All 30 or so students who attended this programme had an excellent time. The interviewers then guided the students through a discussion of the job description and the skills they were looking for.Following the conclusion of the interview session, 12 students were selected as the best candidates for their organization’s position.Following that, the management and staff were invited to a meeting where the recruiters were urged to show their interest in collaborating with Academy of Design & management under the guidance of JD Institute of Fashion Technology Cochin at upcoming job fairs. Also few recruiters’ showed their interest in joining our JDDA in 2024. Kudos to all of our students who participated in the job fair and did well, and we wish them luck in their future endeavors.
